Nintendo Revolution Renamed!

The Nintendo Revolution has been dubbed "The Nintendo Wii" (pronounced "we"). You can view a Quicktime of their trailer here or you can visit their actual site and see the flash trailer.
I like the video and I think both the name and video keep in line with Nintendo's philosophy of simple, fun gaming. It makes me curious if any of the imagery or sounds in the video are previews of what the load screen will be like.

Gran Turismo kid

You have got to be kidding me. This is a video of a kid, who looks no older than maybe 5 years old, playing a track on Gran Turismo. Granted, it looks like he's playing automatic transmission, and granted, it's an oval track...pay attention to the way he handles the wheel. This blew me away. Another 8 years or so, and we may get to see the next Keiichi Tsuchiya.

Apple Boot Camp

Apple's done it. Shortly after the $13K was won in the contest to be the first to create a solution that allows an Intel Mac to natively boot Windows XP, Steve Jobs and company released "Boot Camp". A public beta that does the very same, but in traditional Apple simplicity and ease. Kind of cool of Apple to let the guys win their $13K before releasing it! Ha!

Check it out here.
